Asst. Prof. Yung-Ting "Lizzy" Hsu, DDS, MDSc, MS, DABP, DTBP

Dr. Yung-Ting "Lizzy" Hsu is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington at the Department of Periodontics. She teaches both didactic and clinical teaching at both predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. In addition, Dr. Hsu publishes more than 30 publications in periodontics and implant dentistry, especially prevention and treatments of peri-implant diseases. She also received several awards in recognition of her excellent performance in teaching and clinical research, including American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Clinical Research Award (2021), AAP Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring Award (2021), American Academy of Periodontology Foundation (AAPF) Nevins Teaching and Clinical Research Fellowship (2018), Osteology Education Grant from Osteology Foundation (2018), and AAPF fellowship to the Institute for Teaching and Learning in the Health Professions (2016). Dr. Hsu received her D.D.S. and D.M.Sc degrees in Periodontics from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan. She also holds a Certificate and M.S. degree in Periodontics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. She is a dual-board certified periodontist, and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the Taiwan Board of Periodontology.
